i called the doctor again today because aubs was just not herself. even when she is sick she still talks alot and is up playing but not today. she laid on the couch motionless and watched pbs for 5 hours. she can never sit that long. so the nurse had us come back in. before we left for the doctor i gave her more medicine (come to find out we weren't giving her enough) and gave her a warm bath. she perked up and by the time we arrived at the office she was talking to people and walking around. i felt like i had to reassure them that she really didn't feel well! she kept asking the doctor what she was going to do next. when her ears were checked she looked at the doctor and said, "be gentle".
the diagnosis - unsure! it could still be a virus but she listened to her lungs for a long time and could hear activity in her right lung. she said alot of times when it is in a localized area it means stuff is settling in and could be pneumonia. so we are going to start antibiotics just in case.
the highlight of the visit though was when the doctor asked aubren if she was eating and aubren told her no. she then went on to tell aubs that she had a big tummy. aubren said, "yes, and mommy has a big tummy too." the doctor laughed and asked her why and she said in a sweet voice, "because milia mae is in there!"
