Fourth of July

We headed to the Gaylord Texan for a fun fourth of July weekend.

Milia was so tired at this point she almost fell asleep while eating her popcorn.

We went out for a late night date with my sister, Amy, and her husband, Robbie.
These were our dates. The aren't words to describe how funny they looked in person!

New Orleans

In March we took our first vacation without the little ones. We traveled to New Orleans with some of our favorite friends, Lindsay and Libby.

L & L

We stopped at a little bar before we headed to the airport to go home. Libby and I decided to get a photo with the owner, Frank, before we left. One of the women patrons yelled out "squeeze em Frank" and that is exactly what he did!

Dallas Zoo with Cousins

We had to upgrade our zoo membership just so Aubren could have unlimited carousel rides.

Milia did not like her new little friend!

Christmas 2010

We spent Christmas Eve Eve with Trey's family. It is always super fun to get together with the whole family. The house is always crowded and chaotic but we love it!

Aubs and Ty Ty

Aubren's new doll, Caroline.
These two curly blondes could be sisters!

We are blessed!

Christmas has always been an exciting holiday in my family. And with the passing of my Dad we thought it might be emotionally helpful for us to change up our Christmas traditions so instead of staying at the house we packed up and headed to the Gaylord Texan for a few nights. And although it wasn't the same without my Dad, it was fun to make new memories.

The girls are preparing for their Christmas adventures at the hotel! they were very patient
while we tried to snap the perfect photo of all of their noses lighting up at the same time.

The girls loved walking around the hotel at night in their pajamas.

Icing cookies for Santa.

Santa left lots of treasures on the hotel balcony. It was sweet to watch
the girls use their imaginations to decide how Santa got into the hotel.

Eating our traditional Christmas morning breakfast: powdered sugar donuts

Milia Mae and her JJ

Milia fell in love with the little elf statues. Anytime we would pass
them she would go talk to them and give them hugs and kisses.

The boys relaxing in the hotel lobby.

Silly Uncle Robbie!

Stop coloring on my paper Daddy!!
