me: "now aubren, eating donuts does not give you a license to be hyper."
aubs: don't worry, i will only be a little hyper, not too much."
aubs telling her friend ellie what she wants to be when she grows up...
"ellie, i am going to be an artist when i grow up. do you know what artists do? they draw, color, and paint things. they are smart, kind, and really sweet to all of their other artist friends."
"mom, we shouldn't cook animals. they want to have a real life."
