this month at a glance

• tonight, while waiting for a table at taco diner, aubren looked at trey and said, "sometimes i turn into a dog!"

• you know that you dozed off when you get up, look in the mirror, and see a pumpkin sticker stuck smack in the middle of your forehead.

• aubren and trey love to play playstation together. lately, she opts to play "little big planet" instead of reading books before bedtime. she is getting good at controlling her character - she can make it run and jump and tries to keep up with trey.

• aubren has really taken to reading. she loves to be read to, and loves to read to her animals and babies. she lays them all out, covers each with a blanket, turns down the lights, instructs us all to be quiet, then reads them to sleep!

• aubren has a new song: "i not like dinosaurs, monsters, and giants. they bite me all over, and eat me up!"

• the tornado sirens went off a couple of weeks ago, so aubren got to sleep in the hallway with her new sleeping bag. i thought trey had put her back in bed, but realized an hour later she was still in the hallway!

• aubren loves to use the juicer. she makes trey grapefruit juice and her orange juice in the mornings.
